WHEN IS THE ISO 45001 CERTIFICATE ISSUED?
According to the certification process, the ISO 45001 certificate is typically issued by KMR within approximately two (2) weeks after:
- Successful completion of the certification audit; and
- Closure and verification of corrective actions (if any nonconformities are identified).
WHAT IS THE VALIDITY PERIOD OF THE ISO 45001:2018 CERTIFICATE?
An ISO 45001:2018 certificate is normally valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance.
Upon expiry, the organization must undergo a recertification audit to renew the certificate for the subsequent three-year certification cycle.
AFTER BEING GRANTED ISO 45001:2018 CERTIFICATION, IS THE ORGANIZATION REQUIRED TO CONDUCT ANNUAL SURVEILLANCE AUDITS?
Yes. During the three-year certification cycle, organizations are required to undergo annual surveillance audits (once every 12 months) in accordance with accreditation requirements.
Failure to conduct scheduled surveillance audits may result in suspension or withdrawal of the ISO 45001:2018 certificate in accordance with applicable regulations.
