APRIL 15–18, 2026 – THE 5TH HO CHI MINH CITY INTERNATIONAL FOOD & FOODSTUFF EXHIBITION – HCMC FOODEX 2026

From April 15–18, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), the 5th Ho Chi Minh City International Food & Foodstuff Exhibition – HCMC FOODEX 2026 officially took place, continuing the success of previous editions and affirming its position as one of the leading prestigious specialized events in Vietnam.

The event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) and the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Foodstuff Association, attracting hundreds of businesses and organizations from both domestic and international markets.

With the theme “Natural – Green – Sustainable Products,” HCMC FOODEX 2026 continued to bring together a wide range of product groups such as agricultural products, processed foods, beverages, and spices, along with technological solutions, machinery, and equipment serving the food industry. Notably, many companies introduced advanced solutions in clean production, eco-friendly packaging, smart processing technologies, and supply chain optimization.

The exhibition attracted significant interest from numerous domestic and international businesses and organizations in the food sector

The exhibition is not only a venue for product display but also serves as an important trade bridge, helping enterprises connect with partners, expand markets, and stay updated on the latest development trends in the global food industry.

Businesses actively introduced products that meet international food safety certifications

Quality standards – the “golden key” to enhancing competitiveness

One of the most notable highlights at HCMC FOODEX 2026 is the growing interest of businesses in international food safety and quality management standards.

At the exhibition, many companies actively showcased products that have obtained reputable certifications such as:

▪️ HACCP Codex
▪️ ISO 22000:2018
▪️ ISO 9001:2015
▪️ FSSC 22000
▪️ BRC
▪️ HALAL
▪️ FDA

These standards not only help businesses meet the legal and technical requirements of demanding markets such as the EU, the United States, and the Middle East, but also serve as a foundation for building consumer trust and enhancing brand value. Businesses can refer to detailed consulting and certification services at KMR Vietnam: HACCP Codex, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015, FDA, FSSC 22000, BRC, HALAL, etc.

In the context of an increasingly competitive market with high requirements for quality, safety, and traceability, the adoption of management systems and attainment of international certifications is no longer an “advantage” but has become a mandatory condition for sustainable development.

As a reputable consulting and certification organization, KMR Vietnam accompanies businesses in:

▪️ Building management systems aligned with actual operations
▪️
Shortening the time to achieve certification
▪️ Improving production efficiency and risk control

HCMC FOODEX 2026 – A platform for connection and sustainable development

HCMC FOODEX 2026 is not only a specialized exhibition but also a strategic springboard that helps Vietnam’s food and foodstuff enterprises enhance competitiveness and integrate more deeply into the global supply chain.

The event continues to affirm its role as an effective bridge connecting producers - distributors - consumers, contributing to the strong and sustainable development of the food industry—one of Vietnam’s key economic sectors.
